Caring for Your Cutting Board

With proper care your cutting board will last for many years to come.  Here are a few tips that will help keep your cutting board looking good:

• Clean your board using hot, soapy water and dry thoroughly.
• Do not leave a wet board lie flat on the counter. Stand it on end to dry.
• Do not immerse board in water.
• Do not ever run your board through the dishwasher.
• Store in dry area away from extreme temperatures.
• Apply Old Colonial Wood Wax to your board once per month to help maintain its finish and restore its shine.
